The Life Skills Center Arizona Online School (LSCAO) is Arizona's newest distance-learning school. LSCAO serves the needs of 9th-12 grade home-based learners, utilizing certified teachers. LSCAO provides each student with a computer, internet access, and curriculum that can be accessed 24/7 that can be utilized to further the student’s education.
Future plans include continued growth, and more unique and specialized course offerings as the school continues to grow.
Requirements:
High School diploma or higher
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills
Understands the importance of data integrity
Work experience in field where accuracy of data entry was part of performance evaluation
Experience with student information systems preferred
Experience with Powerschool a strong plus
Advanced computer skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and web-based applications Strong multi-tasking skills
Must be willing to become certified on designated systems
Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds
A Life Skills Center Arizona Online School Student Data Specialist has a variety of job duties, including entering all student information in all applicable White Hat Management and State Department of Education databases accurately; entering and submitting all school data for student count dates as applicable; resolving student data errors by communicating with local public school district quickly and accurately; preparing for and participating in FTE Reviews and other State and Sponsor audits; resolving data issues that arise from internal corporate or state audits; validating accurate and complete special education information into appropriate databases and communicating with the Special Education Department about student statuses; providing daily, weekly, and monthly reports along with continuous feedback to the building Administrator and White Hat Management; maintaining knowledge of state reporting requirements; following up with families regarding records and documentation; updating and maintaining student files and transcripts; serving as the school’s registrar; attending all professional development offered by the district regarding updating and maintaining information to the district’s data base; assisting with enrollment as assigned; maintaining a file of students who have been withdrawn due to the 105 hour rule and conduct and document a personal follow-up for re-enrollment purposes; performing student home visits as needed; demonstrating support for students of the Life Skills Center Arizona Online School; and performing all other job duties as assigned.
