Description
CMT is conducting a search for a Department Assistant to support two busy executives. Primary responsibilities
include scheduling meetings, answering heavy phones, and handling other administrative duties as needed. Create
script coverage, as needed. The Assistant will interface with creative executives and talent on a regular basis and
therefore professionalism and great customer service is needed. This position is located in Santa Monica, CA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Cover multiple line department phones • Schedule on-site meetings, manage calendar and arrange business lunches • Prepare expense reports • Create and maintain computer files • Create and maintain office files, including clipping and photo files • Produce Press Kits • Order and maintain departmental supplies • Order and maintain departmental newspaper and magazine subscriptions • Partner with manager/directors/VP’s and team to create and distribute launch clips and reels • Process and following up on departmental billing • Accompany talent to internal and external events and assist with
REQUIREMENTS: • B.A. Degree or related experience • 1 to 2 years minimum administrative experience, entertainment or agency experience preferred • Cover multiple line department phones • Schedule on-site meetings, manage calendar and arrange business lunches • Prepare expense reports • Create and maintain computer files • Create and maintain office files, including clipping and photo files • Interface with messenger center, mail room and courier service • Order and maintain departmental supplies • Partner with manager/directors to create and distribute launch clips and reels
