Utilizes data and statistical modeling methods to create analytical solutions and reports. Focuses on client project research or data development. Based on statistical and research findings, makes business and model application recommendations and / or builds data content in order to provide insight into product development and sales. Research Analyst responsibilities are determined by organizational need and may include the following responsibilities:
*Utilizes data and statistical modeling methods to create analytical solutions. *Evaluates data, constructs models, builds data strategies and defines data segmentation.
*Uncovers consumer behavioral patterns and determines ways to help improve clients' profitability and marketing returns.
*Based on statistical and research findings, makes business and model application recommendations.
*Provides pre and post delivery support: defining project requirements, developing proposals including costs and timing expectations, defining opportunities, delivering project expectations and delivering results.
*Communicates project progress to affected associates and management. *Escalates issues as appropriate.
*Utilizes reporting technologies to document and execute business requirements. *Facilitates the data segmentation through clustering techniques including K-means.
*Runs pixel comparison counts and resolved discrepancies with appropriate networks.
*Identifies measures to improve processes, increase efficiency and promote team's technical sophistication.
*Automates and utilizes templates as appropriate. Stays informed and evaluates the latest Acxiom and industry news, trends, products, services, competitors and relevant existing and emerging technologies in order to keep research methods/processes technologically current.
*Develops, maintains and shares best practices. Development Research Analyst: Designs and executes data development projects.
*Analyses data and develops models based on research. Works with teams to integrate research findings and models into Acxiom operations.
Qualifications
Required Skills
*Graduate degree in math, statistics, or quantitative analysis.
*High attention to detail.
*Working knowlege of SAS, including SQL and SAS Macros.
