Phone: Contact: Fax: Description G4S Secure Solutions (USA), a leader in the security services industry, is currently recruiting for a Corporate Security Officer for a contract site in Washington D.C. The Corporate Security Officer (CSO) protects the customer’s critical corporate facility. This facility’s size, location, associate population, and critical business functions create a high potential for risk-related issues, and therefore requires a robust and proactive level of security awareness. The CSO will conduct unarmed foot patrols (interior and/or exterior), control access and egress, monitor CCTV and alarm systems, compose reports, deter criminal activity and misconduct, and perform other duties as specified in post orders. The CSO will be fully versed in the customer's security concept of Deter, Engage, Evaluate and Respond (DEER). We are seeking a high energy individuals with a proven track record of successfully handling complex situations and interacting appropriately and effectively with the public. Requirements To be considered for this position, candidates must meet all of the following Basic Qualifications: Must have a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Pass required training and other qualifications for licensing as a Special Police Officer (pursuant to applicable D.C. Official Code) Must possess or be able to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED certifications prior to assignment Must possess one or more of the following: Service in the Elite Military Forces, Military Police or combat arms 3 years civilian or military law enforcement Associate or higher Criminal Justice Degree Career Military Bachelor’s degree in any discipline combined with a minimum of one year work history with direct customer interaction Must have reached the age of twenty-one (21) years (pursuant to applicable D.C. Official Code) Must be a citizen of the United States (pursuant to applicable D.C. Official Code) If prior military, must have a discharge other than dishonorable (pursuant to applicable D.C.
