The Americas Accounting team is looking for a candidate to perform accounting related activities supporting the Americas Business Unit sales segments and support groups.
The position is responsible for teaming with Finance contacts to make various accruals and analyze the adequacy of the accruals such as outside services, relocation, hypothetical tax, among others. The position also involves making revenue recognition adjustments and cross charge distributions of support group costs, performing balance sheet reconciliations, ad hoc reporting, and representing the Americas Accounting team on Finance system upgrades and other special projects as necessary. This position will provide the candidate the opportunity to team with contacts in multiple Finance and business areas. Qualifications The ideal candidate would have the following skills/competencies: 1) Strong knowledge of accounting principles and finance 2) Business competencies of drive for results, financial acumen, dealing with ambiguity, attention to detail, and customer focus, 3) Strong knowledge of the following tools/systems: Oracle, HFM, MS Excel, MS Access, etc 4) Strong verbal and written communications, and 5) Prefer a Bachelor's degree with a finance or accounting concentration. CPA certification or progress toward CPA certification a plus.
