Qualifications: A Master's Degree or higher preferred with 3 years of clinical experience and 3 years of leadership experience also preferred. Applicants should be organized, versatile, and willing to work under pressure of deadlines. Essential qualities include autonomy, resourcefulness, professionalism and flexibility. Responsibilities: The Academic Clinical Coordinator of Education (ACCE) will assist in the direction, development, content, implementation, and evaluation of the clinical curriculum. He or she will also assist in providing guidance and direction to program staff and faculty involved in the coordination and instruction of the clinical education. The ACCE will liaison with appropriate offices and departments involved in medical and allied health education with external agencies useful to clinical education. In cooperation with core faculty and the Director of Clinical Education, he or she will review and approve content and sequence of learning opportunities. Abilities such as monitoring student progress and serving as a primary academic advisor for students in clinical education are also required. The ACCE will assist the Director of Clinical Education in evaluating teaching and learning effectiveness of clinical curriculum. ATSU is a graduate health professions institution offering doctoral degrees in Physical Therapy (entry level and post-professional), Osteopathic Medicine, Dentistry and Audiology.
