Immediate need for a Web Developer/Designer on a contract basis in Tampa. Candidates MUST be local to the Tampa area AND all work will be done on-site (no telecommuting!)

You will design and develop the marketing web site to be in sync with the marketing team. You will work on the site from a design and development perspective and be the liaison between marketing and systems. This is a new role being brought in-house from a marketing firm that has always had control over the site.
* Maintains the company*s website and functionality, implement and support Marketing campaigns with Web-based applications
* Understand and follow web/technology trends and usability
* Work hand in hand with Marketing team
* Regulate all online content
* Maintains and enhances the usability of public-facing websites and online applications to increase the efficiency, effectiveness, and satisfaction of the customer online experience
* Work closely with project teams to understand users* intentions and to create functional designs, prototypes and templates in keeping with the users* goals and the company*s business objectives
* Coordinate setup and prepare materials for usability testing
* Participate actively in usability testing, including note-taking and moderating, to understand user behaviors and preferences
* Analyze the results from usability tests, and document findings (i.e., end-to-end user experience, user workflows, specific UI screens and components, etc.)
* Create prototypes, wireframes and templates
* Manage project work completed by internal and external partners
* Provide strong technical leadership for Internet development including mentoring of team members
* Provide leadership that leverages IT to enable organizational strategy
* Provide technical support for the applications architecture of a business function
* Analyze system functional and performance requirements to support design architectures
