Position Type: Part Time (20-24 hrs/wk) Job Description: Primary responsibilities include answering questions or resolving computer problems for local and remote clients. Emphasis will be on providing assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, email, network connectivity and operating systems. The candidate must possess critical thinking skills and be able to work with minimal supervision.
Roles: -Support users on software and hardware problems -Setup and rollout new computers -Installs and configures hardware and software for users -Other duties as assigned Skills Required: -Min 3 years of IT support experience -Experience working with software/hardware installation and upgrades -Basic troubleshooting skills ? desktops and laptops -Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications -Proficiency in Windows XP/7 -Strong problem solving skills -Strong written and oral communication skills -Flexible to a changing work load and quick to take on new responsibilities -Excellent customer service skills -Ability to multi task and work independently
