Description: Under direct supervision of the Manager or Assistant, verifies, processes, and maintains records on incoming shipments, and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties.

1 full-time position is available.

Hours: Varies.

Location: Little Rock, AR.


Duties: Verifies incoming shipments, noting any damages or discrepancies.

Processes electronic discrepancy reports as needed.

Identifies expendable, nonexpendable, and refrigerated items and processes according to the
established procedures.

Processes receipts of incoming shipments and files associated paperwork such as freight bills,
invoices, receiving reports.

Requests equipment identification numbers and submits electronic work orders for all
nonexpendable equipment.

Prepares items for delivery and routes to proper services/departments.

Obtains weight and measurements of items/pallets to be shipped out.

Operates shrink wrapping machine.

Prepares address labels and affixes to items/pallets.

Contacts freight carriers and schedules pickup appointment.

Assembles furniture and other items.

Operates lift trucks, electric and manual pallet jacks.

Maintains log of all received turn-in documents.

Disposes/stores turned in items appropriately.

Maintains safety and appearance standards of warehouse building and dock areas.

Provides customer service support via telephone, electronic mail, and service counter.
Qualifications: Highs school diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or 3 to 6 months of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must possess valid Arkansas drivers license and maintain current auto liability insurance coverage.

Must be able to follow instructions, both single and multiple. Must demonstrate proper safety
procedures and respect for equipment and merchandise. Must be capable of moderately independent work. Capable of operating equipment including but not limited to forklift, floorjack and two/four wheel push carts.

Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical equipment and in congested areas. The employee works inside a controlled heat/cool environment. Occasionally, the temperatures may be uncomfortable.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
