This position could have a requirement for extended travel to hazardous locations in support of the customer. Specifics will be discussed. Candidate must be willing to support 100% travel, be able to pass a physical examination, and be willing to receive immunizations as required by the individual contracts
The CSE shall provide advice and guidance to CH-47D/F Field activities for attaining and sustaining favorable operational readiness in the operation and maintenance of equipment and components manufactured by the prime contractor and supplied to the Government. The CSE shall support all US Army Chinook units as required by each order. Duration of this support will be as specified in each order. The CSE shall provide advice and guidance to CH-47D/ F Field Aviation Unit Maintenance (AVUM) and Sustainment Aviation Intermediate Maintenance (AVIM/Depot) maintenance personnel in order to attain and sustain maximum operational readiness for the maintenance of equipment and components manufactured by the Contractor and supplied to the Government. If necessary for in-depth troubleshooting, the CSE shall participate in the Maintenance Test Flight activity of CH-47D/F aircraft. The CSE may fly on board the CH-47 in support of Temporary Duty (TDY) or at the request of the Cargo Helicopter Fleet Manager. The CSE shall provide informal training/instruction as requested by the supported unit/organization. The CSE shall provide needed support and parts stockage recommendations on the verification of CH-47D/F peculiar failed components.
The Supplier shall provide CSE support in support of the statement of work. CSE shall be specialized in CH-47F aircraft and engineering support to provide technical guidance and instruction in the use of associated special test equipment and render technical guidance to resolve maintenance issues. The CSE shall serve as liaison to the USG Boeing Field Service Representative and Boeing Service Engineering for exchange of information relative to the maintenance of the aircraft including notifications of urgent maintenance difficulties and/or troubleshooting requirement. Each CSE shall provide technical advice and guidance to CH-47F Field (AVUM) and Sustainment (AVIM/Depot) maintainers in order to attain and sustain maximum operational readiness for the maintenance of equipment and components associated with the CAAS Cockpit as supplied with the CH-47F. If necessary for in-depth troubleshooting, the CSE shall participate in the Maintenance Test Flight activity of CH-47F aircraft. The CSE will provide informal training/instruction as requested by the supported unit/organization. The CSE shall verify all reported failures associated with Rockwell Components are accurate.
This position requires strong Customer Communication/Relationship skills. Candidate must have well developed oral and writing skills along with experience in briefing/instructional activity.
Proficiency in Microsoft and other desktop applications is necessary. Candidate must demonstrate creativity in problem solving with an ability to act independently as well as an effective part of a team.
